About the Families Helping Families Board

The Board of Families Helping Families meets at the office of FHF at 5:15 PM on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. If a board meeting falls on a holiday or a holiday week that could potentially interfere with a quorum, then the meeting will be scheduled the day before or day after or the Tuesday of the following week. It is recommended that you contact FHF to confirm board meeting date and time if you plan on attending.

FHF of Acadiana (FHFA) is a nonprofit organization that serves the Acadiana area in assisting and strengthening individuals & families with special needs through a coordinated network of resources, support and services.

We are seeking board members from: Evangeline, Iberia, St. Martin, and Vermilion parishes.

What would my responsibilities as a board member be?

Board members work as part of a team to provide guidance and direction to a nonprofit organization, so that it fulfills its vision and reflects its core values.

Other responsibilities may include the following:

support FHFA community activities, fundraising efforts, volunteering at agency events, and being the ambassador to the community on behalf of the FHFA and its clients.
