Erika is a dedicated advocate and proud parent of a child with a disability whose personal experience drives her passion for creating stronger, more inclusive communities. She understands the challenges families face and works to ensure individuals with disabilities and their families have a voice in the systems that impact their lives.
Erika brings valuable experience through her work with schools and community programs. She serves on the Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC) for the Lafayette Parish School Board and is a member of the Partners in Policymaking Class of 2026.
Her commitment to advocacy, family engagement and systems change is what led her to LaCAN.
